Life
in the Freezer is an entertaining show about Antarctica.
It includes superb photographs of the wildlife and landscape of
this dramatic continent and tells the story of the making of the BBC TV series.
Behind-the-scenes photographs of the film crews, filming techniques and presenter (Sir David Attenborough) give a unique insight
into the making of television wildlife documentaries.
Dramatic audio-visual sequences re-create the atmosphere of the wild and lonely places
which the film crews visited.

Life in the Freezer is an audio-visual show which mixes an
entertaining commentary and slide show with atmospheric slide/sound sequences.
The show is normally in two halves, the first half concentrates on the
sub-Antarctic island of South Georgia and the second is based on the Antarctic continent.
The total running time is 2 hours which includes a 15 minute interval. It
is suitable for ages 7 upwards and caters for a wide range of interests. It is very
entertaining and has had great reviews.
The show is also available as a conventional slide show with no
slide/sound sequences. It can be adapted to suit any timescale from about 40 minutes to 75
minutes.
