It includes superb photographs of the wildlife and landscape of this dramatic continent and tells the story of the making of the BBC TV series.
Behind-the-scenes photographs of the film crews, filming techniques and presenter (Sir David Attenborough) give a unique insight into the making of television wildlife documentaries.
Dramatic audio-visual sequences re-create the atmosphere of the wild and lonely places which the film crews visited.

“Life in the Freezer” is an audio-visual show which mixes an entertaining commentary and slide show with atmospheric slide/sound sequences.

The show is normally in two halves, the first half concentrates on the sub-Antarctic island of South Georgia and the second is based on the Antarctic continent.

The total running time is 2 hours which includes a 15 minute interval. It is suitable for ages 7 upwards and caters for a wide range of interests. It is very entertaining and has had great reviews.

The show is also available as a conventional slide show with no slide/sound sequences. It can be adapted to suit any timescale from about 40 minutes to 75 minutes.

In bigger venues, Ben can link into an in-house PA system, and has successfully projected the show onto full cinema screens to audiences up to 1000 people.
