Bens work on their Antarctic Commission...

Most of this work is based around his outdoor experience in wildlife, landscape, recreational and environmental photography although indoor work can also be carried out.

Pic25.jpg (7895 bytes)Some jobs involve both, like his regular commissions for Acton Scott Historic Working Farm.
In this case, the outdoor farming images are complemented by interior images of cottage and craft activities.

Pic32.jpg (6762 bytes)Ben works in all seasons and all weathers, and will carry out extended portfolio work which may require images from throughout the year (e.g. recent commissions from Shropshire Tourism and the Shropshire Wildlife Trust).

He also carries out Commercial work and Product photography, especially where the products are used out-of-doors (e.g. farming, recreation, and wildlife products).

Pic12.jpg (6715 bytes)Having spent twenty years travelling to numerous remote wilderness locations, which included a major commission for National Geographic magazine, Ben is obviously capable of shooting pictures anywhere in the world.

Following his work with the BBC Natural History Unit and other TV companies, Ben is also well-placed to work with film crews, providing production stills, location stills and field support.

“The article that you will soon see has been one of the most difficult that I have ever worked on from an editing point of view. I received Antarctic images from over 200 photographers.……Please be assured that I was extremely impressed and delighted with the material that you produced for us on assignment. This, in combination with the additional stock images that you provided, represented by far the finest material submitted.”

“You demonstrated in your work all the elements that we are looking for in the photographers we employ. Creativity, imagination, resourcefulness, and overall, a sense of professionalism, are all aptly demonstrated in the work that you produced. Over and over again, your photographs showed that you are an image maker, not just a picture taker.”
